We bet you do at least one of these things everyday.
You know how sometimes you start the day with your tummy nice and flat, but then an hour later your food baby is out and ready to see the world? Yeah, that's the worst. Luckily, we got to speak with celebrity nutritionist Kimberly Snyder, who has worked with stars like Drew Barrymore and Channing Tatum, and got the inside scoop on what you're doing that's causing you to bloat-even if you don't know it.
You're eating fruit after a heavy meal. On her blog, Snyder explains that while fruit is an amazing food that helps with cleansing and beautifying, it's important to note when in the day you are consuming it. You should never eat fruit as a dessert. "Because fruit is mostly made of a high percentage water, it digests quickly. If you eat it after heavier foods it can make you bloated (making it difficult to digest), and hinder your weight-loss efforts."
Morning hot water with lemon and rainbow! Happy Saturday ❤️You're Eating Dry Chia Seeds. You may think you're doing the right thing for your health by tossing a bunch into your smoothie, but if you haven't mixed them with water and turned them into a gel first, they'll pull water from your intestines, Snyder says, messing up your digestion and making it harder to go No. 2.
